We have been going to Los Amigos since it has opened on stadium drive. Food has always been consistently good however the service depends on who you get. Sometimes it's excellent and you get everything you order and other times there is a language gap and it takes a few tries.
Take out is another story. If you order over the phone I can almost guarantee you won't have what you actually ordered. We have learned to place our to go orders at the bar and just wait. The service is very quick so the wait is not long.
The Margarita's are delicious!!! -

Food was very good.
Service was not good.
Never brought side of sour cream I asked for. Never brought a pop refill.
Seemed to be overwhelmed and it was not that busy when we got there.
Burrito Monteray was wonderful. It had three sauces on it. Inside was beef, chicken and shrimp.
Fajita burrito was very good also. Cheese sauce on top and all the normal fajita items (chicken or beef) inside. Very good
Good thing the food was good :) -

Update: My visit this month was amazing. Yes, I did try the fajitas again... and they were perfect! Lots of meat, cooked perfectly, and our waiter was fantastic!!
Past review:Chips and salsa were great as usual -I've ordered the fajitas Amigos (chicken, beef, and shrimp) the past 2 times we've gone. Last time I noticed there wasn't much meat. This time it was very, very little meat. The serving size was good, but for $15, the dish warrants a great deal more meat instead of tiny little leftover scraps. I estimate the fish was probably 95% vegetable and 5% meat. The waiter we started with was nice but not terribly attentive -so much that we never saw him again. -

We had not been here for a year or two. We decided to do dinner this evening there with friends. This was so great! Our cocktails were delicious. The food portions were huge. The food had flavor and was delicious. We will definitely be back!!

I love Mexican food !
But I was a bit underwhelmed.
Let me explain, I love Mexican food for the spice and the earthy goodness.
The food here is well made, and comes in good quantities. Just was not what I expected. It tasted like it had been filtered through an angry vegan. (What do I mean by that ?) it was plain, no character, no caramelized crust, and no spicy zing to make me want to come back. It was like they had hired a Swedish cook to make tamales.
